For Sale or Want Listings Summary
For Sale or Want Listings
For Sale or Trade: Yaesu FT-60
Up for trade or cash is a very rare Yaesu FT-60 dual band HT (Japan version). The two features of this unit that makes this radio so desirable is 1). it’s a completely free band radio, thus allowing you to transmit on any VHF or UHF frequency from 144 - 174 and 400 - 512 MHz without any additional programming procedures. 2). It boast an unblocked receiver allowing the user to search from 108 - 1300MHz with absolutely no breaks or gaps of any kind. And of course, it operates on your standard 2m and 70cm ham bands as well. The radio is less than 6 months old, and is in near mint condition with very little wear showing.
Items included, the radio, operational manual, original box, Euopean 220V power charger with U.S. adapter from 110 to 220V, upgraded Yaesu (120V U.S.) desk top charger, and window decal.
What I am looking for is a couple of amateur radios, for example a mobile unit and a HT in the 2m - 70cm bands. I’d also consider UHF commercial radios as well or police scanners; however, I would need at least one amateur radio to continue having access to the ham bands. I can go over into more detail on what exactly what I’m looking for whoever is interested via e-mail.
Payment and Shipment terms -- If cash involved, must be US funds drawn on a US bank. Will ship within the USA only.

ZAP! ZOTCH!! "Awpf Sputt-tt!"
Caution!! Danger!!
High-voltage safety procedures should be followed carefully to avoid serious bodily injury or death. Particularly when working with older tube-type equipment and with high-power amplifiers, dangerous voltages may be encountered within.
Similarly, when placing items in the marketplace, dangerous con schemes can be encountered.
One of the safest ways to transfer money from buyer to seller is through the use of PayPal. PayPal uses a secure Web site, but there are many who have attempted to steal your log-in identity by placing links to what on the surface looks like the actual PayPal site. Therefore, you should never visit PayPal through a link in an email, even one purportedly from PayPal. Instead, always type the name in manually: www.paypal.com
Second, always ensure that your browser is pointing at https ://www.paypal.com. many modern browsers will throw up a yellow background in the address bar when on a secure site with the https protocol, and may show you a closed padlock icon as well.
Never disclose bank account numbers, credit/debit card numbers, pin numbers or your Social Security number. Be wary of checks drawn on foreign banks, cashiers checks and money orders. Let your bank investigate any check or money order before relying on it, if you don't know the buyer. Keep your vigilance.
