June 2008 W7ASC Column
A short column this month with yet another update on the W7ASC move: The W7ASC Shack teardown date is estimated to be Monday July 7th. We will be closed from July 7th thru to Aug 1st. Hopefully the W7ASC New Shack Grand Opening (on the third floor) will be Saturday Aug 2nd.
Meanwhile back at the ranch we will have the W7ASC Shack open for the ARRL Field Day event June 28th and 29th. Inside operation, so come on down and enjoy a cool Field Day. The General License Class at the Science Center starts July 26th, the weekend after the Williams Hamfest. So far we have 8 students signed up. Give me a call or e-mail if you are interested.
We are still looking for more W7ASC volunteers. Spread the word at your Ham Club. Call 480-961-1109 and volunteer now. A Volunteer sign-up page is available at www.w7asc.org
