A Happy Thanksgiving to all!
The new Tech license class is underway at MCC with 9 students. They will take the VE test at the Superstition Hamfest at MCC December 5th. See http://wb7tjd.org/wiki/Superstition_Hamfest for details. Our next Tech class starts Saturday February 27th 2010.
Speaking of the Hamfest look for the W7ASC table! We still hope to setup to sell some older equipment, books, parts, books, junque, and books. All we need are some volunteers to help man the booth Saturday..
Mark your calendars for the annual CARL/W7ASC member meeting Saturday January 23rd 2010. Awards, door prize, election of board members, refreshments, indicators (how we did vs last year), and more. Watch for the details later in December.
We are still short of volunteers for the rest of December. Spread the word at your Ham Club. Call 480-961-1109 and volunteer now. We have a CARL PPT Presentation available (operators are standing by) that can be presented to your club. Contact me (see below) to set it up.
