Titan Missile Museum and DX event Field trip: October 2010
- The SARC activities group has scheduled a trip to Tucson to visit the Titan Missile Museum and make use of their Discone antenna. The trip is scheduled for October 9th and 10th. Details will be further discussed and worked out at the May and June activities group meeting.

Titan Missile Museum and DX event Field trip: October 9th and 10th, 2010
This will be a Ham field trip to the Titan Missile Museum:
- use the Largest Discone Antenna in the world
- optionally, take a trip down into the Missile silo complex
- optionally, take your RV and camp nearby
- optionally, camp overnight underground in the Missile Silo Barracks just feet from the Rocket!
Please see the Discone antenna web site of the Green Valley ARC for specific information about the main purpose of this field trip -- We want to use the antenna!
