Depiction, Inc., makers of the Depiction mapping software that was featured in the November QST, is offering free webinars for Amateur Radio Operators every Thursday. The webinars are hosted by David Friedman, KE7GOY, and Depiction’s Kim Buike, a retired U.S. Navy Captain and active Red Cross volunteer. David and Kim will show how to employ Depiction before and during emergencies to enhance planning and response capabilities, and demonstrate David’s use of the software in response to disasters around the country. Also, we are looking to do a limited number of custom regional webinars for ARRL clubs, using local maps and data to show how the software can be used in your community to prepare for—and respond to—specific disaster risks. If you are interested, please just respond to this email and let me know.
